"Men may wear the trousers, but they don't wear the heels" - Tamara Mellon

Remember me telling you about the Jimmy Choo and H&M collaboration last
month?

Well they have just released some more promotional pictures, and they don't
disappoint.
There will be around 40 pieces (out on November the 14th) including statement jewellery starting at £14.99 and dresses for £149.99.
But of course what we are all really interested in is the shoes.
Check out the photos- I bagsy the studded black ones!

"I'm not the same kid from your memory. Now I can fend for myself."

Gutted. I just found out that I am missing Halloween this year. Which means no excuse to dress up. Sob.
However I am going to France to stay with my BFFL in her holiday house there (woop I can finally go abroad this year!) so I can't really complain. Instead I have compiled what I probably would be wearing (all from Topshop oh and the photo above is from weheartit) and what I wish I would be wearing for Halloween. Which for the record I only like because it gives me an excuse to get all dressed up. And is the only time you can go out dressed as like a fairy or Harry Potter or something and not get weird looks.

My dream halloween outfits (above).
If money was not a problem then is what my halloween costume would something like; either the SS09 Balmain (left) or the AW09 Maz Azria for Herve Leger (right)
*Sigh*
If only...

So if you had an unlimited budget what would you wear for Halloween?
Or what are you planning on wearing?

Another match made in fashion heaven...

Just when I was getting all excited about the new Christopher Kane for Topshop collaboration, along came the photos for Jimmy Choo and H&M...
Now the first thing I wanted to know about was the price and (unlike Mr Kane for Topshop) it's actually pretty easy on the wallet with ballet flats costing about £30 and boots costing around £170.
I will be dashing into my nearest H&M on the 14th of November to get myself a pair. Or maybe I will be able to wait for Santa to get me some?!

Latest Style Obsession- Fascinators

At the moment I am totally in love with fascinators- any kind of head piece involving netting and I am in!
They were all over the couture shows in Paris due to their timeless elegance but they were also seen with an edgy twist at many of the spring summer runways as well.

I am going to have to devote a whole section of this post to Luella's gorgeous fascinators from S/S 09:

Even the big couture collections were doing fascinators this year, such as here at Valentino A/W 09:

Alexander McQueen and his very original take on the netting trend:

And last but not least of all the different kinds of netted head gear is PPQ's fabulous stuff:

But my affordable fascinator fix will have to be from Accessorize, where they have loads of different colours and styles, a couple of my favourites pictured below:

Ice Cream Hat Lady- I applaud you

Seriously you have to applaud this lady. Despite how impractical this massive hat is- you would have to enter a door side on to fit through the door frame, not to mention how heavy it looks- model Freya Berry definitely wears this giant Cadbury's Flake 99 ice cream hat with style.
And as a bonus the 4 ft flake is edible!
For me she stole the show hats wise at Ascot Ladies Day earlier this year, the event famous for its mad headgear. Source

The Big September Issue- I've got mine!

What a lovely surprise that Kate (my favourite gal!) was on the front cover!
I was so pleased that the "Fabulous Fashion Issue" didn't disappoint and I was chuffed when I discovered how heavy it was because then I know that it is crammed with fashion, fashion, fashion!
Another great issue and is it weird that I love looking at the many, many adverts?
Strangely enough I find the photographs and the layouts of the ads as beautiful as the actual editorials.
