We are golden

Hier ist mal wieder ein Party-Outfit von mir. Das ist vor einigen Wochen entstanden, als ich mit 3 Freundinnen einfach mal unter der Woche  feiern war. Es hat so Spaß gemacht, dass wir in der selben Woche gleich 2 mal weg waren. Sich in der Vorlesung am nächsten morgen wach zu halten, war nicht mehr so spaßig.

Ich mag meine Haare auf dem Bild gar nicht leiden, dafür liebe ich das plissierte Kleid und den tollen Blazer umso mehr.

Ich habe mir sogar noch 2 plissierte Maxiröcke gekauft. Die wird es dann auch bald zu sehen geben, genau wie meine endlich aufgefrischten Haare.

ENG: Here is again a party outfit. Which was created several weeks ago when I was celebrating with 3 girlfriends just in the week. It was so much fun, that we went out 2 times in the same week. Keeping myself awake in the lecture the next morning was not so much fun. 
I like don't like my hair in the picture at all, but I love the pleated dress and the great blazer even more.
I've even bought  2 pleated  maxi skirts. I will show them soon, just like my color refreshed hair.

What I wore... long ago

Wie der Titel schon sagt, habe ich dieses Outfit bereits vor einiger Zeit getragen und zwar im Januar zur Geburtstagsfeier meines Freundes. Da ich das ganze organisiert habe, blieb nicht viel Zeit für ein typisches Overdivity-Outfit mit vielen Accessoires. Ich habe diesmal auf massenhaft Accessoires verzichtet und bin mir treu geblieben, indem ich auf falsche Wimpern, eine Strumpfhose mit hinterer Naht und hohe Schuhe gesetzt habe. Ich muss allerdings sagen, dass es mir im Nachhinein doch zu schlicht war, vor allem nachdem Ich die große Schleife, die ich im Haar trug (3. Bild) ablegen musste, weil sie beim tanzen hin und herrutschte.

Oh und bei dieser Gelegenheit muss ich noch etwas loswerden: Die Qualität des H&M Kleides hat mich echt geschockt. Nach zweimal tragen und 2 Wäschen sind beide Seitennähte komplett vom Saum bis zu den Ärmeln aufgerissen und das obwohl ich im 30°Schonwaschgang gewaschen habe und laut Etikett darf man sogar noch höhere Temperaturen anwenden. So etwas habe ich bisher wirklich nicht erlebt. Nächstes Mal versuche ich auf Klamotten aus solchem dünnen Polyester Stoff zu verzichten, anscheinend können, sie es nicht gut verarbeiten.

ENG: As the title suggests, I wore this outfit a while ago.To be exact in January to celebrate the birthday of my boyfriend. As I organized the whole party, there was not much time for a typical Overdivity outfit with lots of accessories. I have left out the massive amount of accessoires I wear normally and am true to me, as I have put on false eyelashes, tights with back seam and high heels. However, I must say that I in retrospect it was too simple for my taste, especially after I had to take off the big bow that I wore in my hair (3rd image), because it was as sliding off while I was dancing.

Oh and on this occasion I have to get rid of something else: the quality of this H&M dress has really shocked me. I carried it twice and after 2 washes both side seams are completely torn up from the hem to sleeves, even though I've washed in the delicate cycle and 30 °. According to the label you may still apply higher temperatures. This is something I've not experienced before. Next time I'll try not to buy clothes from such a thin polyester fabric at H&M, apparently they can not handle it well.

It's the New Year´s Eve Mafia

Hier sind (wieder einmal ein wenig spät) meine Bilder vom Silvester-Abend. Wir haben einen Raum gemietet und unter dem Motto 20er- 30er Jahre/ Mafia gefeiert. Es war wirklich eine super Party! Alles sahen wunderbar aus in den Outfits (es wirkte ein wenig wie eine Black and White Party, da ausser 3 Mädels in Rot, alle schwarz-weiß trugen).

Ich habe mir dafür ein Kleid und eine Strumpfhose bei Asos bestellt. Es war das erste Mal, dass ich dort bestellt habe und ich muss leider sagen, wohl auch das letzte Mal. Denn die Steinchen von den Ärmeln des Kleides lösten sich  nach und nach ab und die Perlen und Steinchen der Ärmel haben mir einen Faden aus dem Überstoff des Kleides gezogen und dann auch noch eine Laufmasche in die Strumpfhose gerissen. Wieso bestickt man die Ärmel eines Kleides, dass einen so dünnen Überstoff hat mit spitzen Steinchen, die überall Maschen reinmachen?!? Soll man vielleicht, die ganze Zeit mit ausgestreckten Armen rumlaufen, um das Kleid nicht zu berühren? Da haben ja die von mir angebrachten Steinchen auf den Schuhen besser gehalten!

Abgesehen davon, dass nun beides - Strumpfhose und Kleid - ruiniert ist fand ich das Kleid, aber sehr schön. Es erinnerte mich ein wenig an die wundervoll bestickten Kleiderärmel von Pola Negri, einer polnischen Stummfilmschauspielerin, der 20er Jahre.

ENG: Here are my New Year's Eve pictures (as always a bit late). We have celebrated a 20s/ 30s/ Mafia Party. It was such a great party and a lot of fun! Everybody looked great (it felt a bit like a black and white party, because besides 3 girls in red, everybody decided to wear black and white).

I ordered a dress and tights from Asos.com for this event. I was the first time I ordered something from them, and I think it will be the last. Many of the pearls/beads on the sleeve loosened themselves and ripped the upper layer of the dress and got lost. They ripped my tights, too!

Seriously, I don't get it! Why do they use sharp beads for a dress with a dress like that?!? Do they want me to keep my hands outstretched all the time, so I won't touch the delicate fabric?

Even the beads I stitched to my shoes didn't loosen themselves!

Besides the fact, that both - dress and tights are ruined - I really like the dress. It reminded me of the wonderful stitched and decoraded sleeves of  Pola Negri , a polish silent film star in the 20s.

Casino Royal

Ich war mit Freunden im Casino. Es hat echt Spaß gemacht, vor allem weil ich eine Glücksträhne hatte und ein kleines Sümmchen beim Roulette gewonnen habe. 

Leider ist kein Foto von meinem Outfit entstanden und das obwohl es sowas wie ein Premiere war: Ich trug nämlich kaum Accessoires (außer winzigen Ohrsteckern). Und das kommt ja nun wirklich kaum bei mir vor!  Zu Hause habe ich dann noch versucht ein Foto hinzukriegen, aber es war zu spät, um ein vernünftiges zu machen, deswegen gibt es nur Outfit-Ausschnitte zu sehen.

Meinen Gewinn habe ich am nächsten Tag in ein wenig Stoff investiert und werde mir daraus etwas Tolles nähen.
Nebenbei bemerkt: Ich liebe den Lippenstift (der gar nicht mir gehört, sondern meiner BF) und ich liebe die Strumpfhose (die ich beim ersten tragen auch schon eingerissen habe!)

ENG:I was in the casino with friends. It was so much fun, escpecially because I had luck and won a little money playing roulette.
Regrettably there wasn't made any photo of my outfit, though it was kind of a premiere: I nearly didn´t wear any accessories (besides tiny earrings). And such a thing doesn't happen often! I tried to make a photo at home, but i was too late to do so. So here are just parts of the look.
I invested my gain into material the next day and I will sew something nice the next days.
By the way: I love the lipstick (which isn't actually mine, but my BF's and I love the tights, which I ripped this night after wearing them only once!)

Vor kurzem war ich auf dem Geburtstag einer Freundin. Für diesen Anlass habe ich ein selbstgenähtes Kleid aus meinem Kleiderschrank gekramt. Falsche Wimpern waren auch mal wieder im Einsatz. Ach, ich liebe das  alles einfach! Die Feier selbst werd ich jetzt nicht kommentieren, dafür gibt es einen Ausschnitt vom Songtext eines meiner Lieblingslieder. Passt irgendwie...

ENG: I was on a birthday party. For this event I dug out a self-made dress from my wardrobe and put faked lashes on. I just love it. I won't comment the party itself, but here is part of the lyrics from one of my fav songs. Somehow it fits..

Fashionevent

Vor zwei Wochen war ich mit einer Freundin bei einem Fashionevent, welches eine Mischung aus Modenschau und Tanz war. Dabei haben sich 5 Modestudentinnen unter dem Namen PipkaPipka zusammengetan und ihre Ideen vorgestellt.

Einige Elemente kannte ich bereits von der A+ Show, trotzdem war diese einzigartig und interessant und die Tanzdarbietung gab dem ganzen einen gewissen Reiz. Allerdings war der Raum viel zu klein für so viele Menschen. Ich war froh, nach der Show an die frische Luft zu kommen. Bei dieser Gelegenheit hab ich auch gleich mein Outfit abknipsen lassen.Ich freu mich vor allem so ein cooles Bild von meiner Strumpfhose zu haben. Ich liebe sie einfach. Die knallige und auffällige Farbe und die Naht hinten machen es zu einem meiner Lieblings-Accessoires im Overdivity-stil. Bisher hatte ich sie allerdings nur zweimal getragen aus Angst sie zu zerreißen. Was normalerweise immer nach einem Tragen passiert. Diesen Abend hat sie glücklicherweise unbeschadet überstanden.

Nach der Show war ich mit meiner besten Freundin noch einen Cocktail trinken und dabei haben wir lange über das bloggen, verschiedene Projekte und Mode gequatscht. Wir hatten eine Menge Ideen und werden diese in nächster Zeit in Angriff nehmen.

ENG: Two weeks ago I was on a fashion event with a friend, which was a mix of fashion show and dancing. 5 fashion design students presented their ideas under the name of PipkaPipka.
I knew a few elements already from the A+Show, but still it was special and interesting to see and the performance gave a charm to it. Nevertheless the room was too small for such a crowd. I was happy to get some fresh air outside after the show. I took this opportunity to shoot my outfit. I happy to have such a cool photo of my tights, which I love so much! The bright and exe-catching color plus the seam on the back makes them one of my favorite Overdivity-pieces. Till now I have worn them just twice, because I was afraid to rip them, which happens to me usually after wearing tights only once. Luckily it survived the evening unharmed. Afterwards I drank cocktails with my BF and we talked long about blogging, diverse projects and fashion. We had a lot of ideas, which we will realize some time soon.

The problem with the party-dress-photos

Ich hab gerade am Wochenende wieder mal die Chance auf ein Outfitfoto vertan.

Jedes Mal wenn ich ein Party-Outfit trage, komme ich irgendwie nicht dazu vor dem losgehen ein Foto zu schießen, weil ich mich immer noch bis zur allerletzten Minute style. Und wenn ich dann unterwegs bin findet sich entweder kein geeigneter Hintergrund, es ist zu dunkel oder man macht einfach nur noch Fotos mit Freunden zusammen. Und nicht jeder sieht es gerne wenn Fotos von sich im Internet veröffentlicht werden. Deswegen habe ich bisher kaum welche meiner Party-Outfits gepostet, aber hier kommt eine Ausnahme (obwohl man kaum von richtigen Outfit-Fotos sprechen kann). Die Fotos entstanden vor ungefähr einem Monat in einem Club (und nach der Party als wir vor dem Regen in ein Treppenhaus flüchteten und auf darauf warteten, dass mein Freund uns abholt). Meine beste Freundin hat die Fotos auch schon vor einer Weile auf ihrem Blog gepostet (hier könnt ihr sie sehen).

Diese blöde Situation mit den Party-Outfits ist ein wenig nervig, weil ich die Outfits gerne posten würde, was aber aus oben erwähnten Gründen nicht immer klappt. So habe ich beispielsweise meine two-tone Strumpfhose schon im Februar bei ebay ersteigert, aber bisher ist sie auf meinem Blog nicht erschienen, weil ich sie ausschließlich zu Partykleidern getragen habe. Genauso so sieht es aus mit meinem goldenen Lieblingsmantel, der fast jedes Wochenende ausgeführt wird, hier aber erst jetzt seine Premiere feiert. 

Naja wie auch immer! Ich werd mich anstrengen beim nächsten Wochenende ein brauchbares Foto zu produzieren ;) 

[Und wenn das nicht klappen sollte, bleibt mir noch die Option mich tagsüber aufzupimpen und Fotos mit Glitzerkleid, Smokey Eyes und Pumps mitten im Park zwischen Spielplatz und Spaziergängern zu machen. Hmm oder lieber doch nicht...]

ENG: I missed again the chance to shoot an outfit picture this weekend. Every time I wear a party-dress, I don't get around to taking, because I'm busy with styling to the last minute. When I am on my way I can't find a good background, it is too dark or I just take pictures with my friends. Yet not everybody likes to see their pictures published in the internet. That is why I rarely my party-outfits so far, but here comes an exception (tough you cannot speak about outfit-photos in this case). The photos were taken about a month ago in a Club (and after the party, where we rescued ourselves from the rain into a staircase to wait for my boyfriend to pick us up). My BF posted the photos a while ago. (you can see them here).

This situation with the party dress photos is so annoying, because I'd love to post my outfits, which does not work because of the reason I listed above. My two-tone-tights for example was bought at an ebay auction in February, but did not show up on my blog till now, as I was wearing them with party dresses only. It is the same thing with my favorite golden coat, which I take out almost every weekend, but for all that today has its premiere on my blog.

Whatsoever! I will try to produce a useful picture next weekend ;)

[If I should fail I still have the option to pimp myself during day and take photos with a glitter dress and High heels in the park between playgrounds and walkers. Hmm or maybe better not...]

The fringe dress

Dieses Outfit trug ich vor kurzem zu einem Geburtstag. Eigentlich hatte ich vor höhere und passendere Heels zu tragen, aber als ich dann den Rest der Gäste sah und wieder feststellen musste, dass ich total overdressed bin. Hab ich im Auto noch schnell diese Schuhe angezogen [habe immer ein 2. bequemeres Paar dabei... nur für den Fall ;) ] Overdressed blieb ich trotzdem. Ich habe es zwar auch vermutet, aber dieses Kleid wartet nun schon seit JULI darauf endlich mal ausgeführt zu werden. Nie fand sich eine Gelegenheit. Ich habe nämlich gehört, dass es schrecklich ist, damit in Clubs zu gehen, weil alle an den Fransen hängen bleiben (mit Schmuck, Knöpfen, Gürteln, Ringen) was anstrengend ist, denn dann müsste man ja zu allen einen kleinen "Sicherheitsabstand" einhalten. Jedenfalls hatte das Kleid nun endlich den ersehnten kurzen Auftritt und ich habe sogar noch Zeit und einen nüchternen Fotografen gefunden um diesen Moment zu verewigen ;)

ENG: I wore this outfit lately to a b-day-party. Originally I planned to wear higher and better matching heels, but when I saw the rest of the guests I realized I'm totally overdressed. So I quickly changed shoes in the car [always have a second more comfortable pair of shoes with me ;) ] Even though I was still overdressed. I had expected that to happen, but this dress is waiting for its moment in my wardrobe since JULY. There was no opportunity before. I heard it is horrible to wear this dress in clubs, because everyone gets caught in the fringes (with their jewelry, buttons, belts, rings). This is quite stressful, because one has to keep "safety distance". However the dress had its short moment and I even found a sober photographer to perpetuate this moment ;)

New Year's eve Outfit

Dziś wrzucam posta z strojem sylwestrowym. Tło było trochę pstrokate, więc musiałam to jakoś zamazać, żeby nie rzucał się za bardzo w oczy . Jedyne co ma się rzucać w oczy to właśnie mój outfit. Obficie obszyta marynarka z weluru, pasek vintage z kłódką i rozporek z tylu sukienki, jak i jaskrawy kolor dają gwarancje ze zostanie się zauważoną. A na tych zdjęciach to jeszcze nie dobrałam/założyłam wszystkich aksesorii (taaak można jeszcze więciej przesadzić niż na tych zdjęciach!)

ENG: At this pointi want to post my New Year's Eve outfit.The background was a bit flashy, so i blurred it. The only thing that should catch attention ist my outfit. The velvet jacket with alle the golden pearls, the vintage belt with the lock, the zipper on the back of the dress and the bright color give you a guarantee that you will be noticed. On this pictures i havent't even put all the accessory on (yeeees you can overdress even more than on this pictures!)
